Can life get any busier?

The answer is an astounding, YES!

Our holiday break was amazing, and event/relaxed filled. Ryan, Jennifer, and the boys came down from Arkansas, and we had the greatest time. We survived the blizzard of 2009 and started the new year off with a bang.

Here is a brief photo journal:

We took the kids to Northpark Mall, so they could meet Santa Claus. Unfortunately, the line was so long, we left.

When we went back to Northpark, we were first in line to see Santa Claus. Darby did a great job telling Santa exactly what he wanted for Christmas. Scout, on the other hand, did not want anything to do with Santa.

The blizzard hit early on Christmas Eve, and it looked beautiful. We-the adults-were so excited to have a WHITE Christmas. We took the kids outside, and they didn't seem near as excited as us.

Even with the blizzard, Santa Claus still found his way to our house. Grandma stayed the night, and we spent the morning opening presents and playing with new toys.

Scout had a great time opening her presents. She is getting so big.

Once the blizzard calmed down, we decided to give the outside a second try. We were more successful this time.

We made homemade galoshes out of plastic sacks. Darby enjoyed himself much more this time.

I think Aiden had more fun than any of us.
